One of my favorite parts of being a children’s author is visiting schools. I give presentations on a number of topics, including:

• What it’s like to be an author
• Common writing problems and how to fix them
• How to write a choose-your-own-adventure using Google Slides

Each presentation is an hour long, including questions. My style is humorous, fast-paced, and interactive. I’m happy to do more than one presentation in a single visit, if you have a large number of students and would like to split them by grade level.

Unfortunately, my availability is extremely limited, since I’m still a full-time teacher, so openings book up quickly at the beginning of each year. Please contact me if you’re interested, and we’ll see if we can work something out.
